WHAT WE DO
"SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE"
The principal aim of the POETS has always been to bring people together. To give a forum to those in construction who wish to improve the way in which the industry operates and to implement 'best practice' in its day to day functions. Rather than the more formal settings of meetings, seminars and exhibitions the POETS Luncheon Society offers a more relaxed atmosphere in which to interact with other members of the construction sector.
So over it's 30+ year history the POETS have held a wide variety of events. As well as their lunches and evening meals there have also been dog racing, bowling and quiz nights. It has always been a popular premise that lots of business is done on the golf course. And so it is that the POETS hold regular charity golf days.

So to put it simply we are a networking and social club all rolled into one. It has been said that you shouldn't mix business with pleasure, but we disagree. At a POETS' event we believe that business CAN be a pleasure.

And, of course, all of this is done whilst raising money for good causes.
